10.13.11 - Ryan Stoltz, LEED AP
Ryan Stoltz has rejoined Structures, a local structural engineering firm, as a project manager after previously serving as an intern engineer with Structures in 2005. He spent his interim time working in Dallas designing higher education, healthcare and public sector projects. One of the projects consisted of a new government center which included a clustered building configuration connected by a common arching steel atrium.

Our thoughts and prayers are with those who have lost their homes to the central Texas fires. We at Structures are extending a helping hand and offering free structural engineering services to any uninsured home owners directly impacted by these devastating fires. Please spread the word for us.
9.05.11 - Dean Curtis Knox
Congratulations to the Knox family on the arrival of Dean Curtis Knox who was born 9.5.11, at 3:59pm. He weighed 8 lbs 2 oz, 20.5 in. long, and already has enough hair for a fauhawk! Both mom and baby are doing well.
9.01.11 - Natasha Richie, PE
Natasha Richie, PE has rejoined Structures as a senior project engineer after serving as the structural engineer and quality assurance for a local central Texas steel fabrication and erection company. Her broad knowledge of steel construction and the AISC certification process furthers Structures’ ability to provide designs that account for constructability issues from the onset.
Her experience in photovoltaic support structures enhances our ability to provide clients with designs that meet the ever-growing demand for alternative energy solutions. Natasha’s design of solar support canopies for the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department has been instrumental in the harvesting of solar energy throughout nine state parks.

Our very own Shane Tanner, PE was interviewed on KXAN. He explained our findings on the structural analysis of the Echelon Building.
6.23.11 - Old Harold’s Outlet Barn Project
Structures is excited to be working with The Sterling Group, the new owners of the old Harold's Outlet Barn to convert it into an exciting new event center. The project consists of re-using existing wood framing removed from the project to create new built-up wood roof trusses spanning approximately 48’-0” to create an open and inviting space.

6.10.11 - Texas A&M University Northside Residence Hall
Structures is happy to be a part of the new Texas A&M University Northside Residence Hall project. The project will be completed using REVIT.
6.17.11 - Austin Young Chamber Member Spotlight
Congrats to Helga for being the Austin Young Chamber Member Spotlight. Helga serves as an ambassador for the organization.
5.17.11 - San Antonio Airport IT Modernization Project
We are excited to be a part of the Arizpe team which was awarded the IT Modernization Design effort for the City of San Antonio Airport.
The project consists of a Structured Cabling System for Terminal 1, new outside plant connectivity to the West Vault and ARFF and a new BDF building that will house head-end equipment and servers, ancillary communications rooms, routing infrastructure, and backbone cabling.

The Travis County Precinct One Building project was dedication on April 21st. Congratulations to the design team on all the hard work.
